The Majorelle gardens in Marrakech
The Majorelle Garden was designed in 1924 by Jacques Majorelle, French landscape painter that had settled in Marrakech in 1919.
The garden served as a source of inspiration for the painter for the first few years after it was established, and in 1947, the paintings were made available to the general public.
Yves Saint Laurent has been the owner of the garden from the year 1980.
The park is home to the Islamic Art Museum of Marrakech, a modest museum that displays a variety of works of art from the Islamic tradition.

Types of plants
There is a wide variety of plants and flowers to choose from in the Majorelle Garden, which makes it a pretty big garden. Palm trees, cactus, garden plants, and aquatic plants are all separated into their own distinct sections inside these establishments.
Marrakech’s most beautiful gardens

Although the Menara Gardens are more well-known, the Majorelle Garden is, in our opinion, the most beautiful park in Marrakech. These gardens are located in the same area. One of the most lovely and peaceful parks in the city is this one because of the exotic plants, the fountains, and the brilliant colors that combine together to create this park.
The trees and greenery of the Marjorelle Garden provide shade for visitors during the hot summer days, but the Menara Gardens do not provide as much protection from the heat. This is yet another benefit of attending the Marjorelle Garden.
